Taking its name from Daniel Defoe's character Roxana, who can be described as a proto-feminist because she carries out her actions for her own ends of freedom before a feminist ideology was fully formed in 1724, this elegant and full skirt moves seductively.
This skirt falls fully to the floor at the back whilst showing the legs to above the knee provocatively at the front. It's ample and generous swathes of fabric are pleated at the waist band which sits high on the waist. Fluid and feminine this skirt moves with its own character which can be dressed up by wearing it with heels, toughened up by teaming it with boots or made more casual by combining it with flat sandals.
